SYNOPSIS
Lee Wan (Dragon Lee) and his father travel from they home town to visit Mr. Tai. Lee is arranged to marry his daughter but before they arrive, Tai intends to travel to the North to seek help against the evil Master Kai and deliver a list allies.
Upon hearing this, Kai sends men to retrieve the list and stop the messenger. During the attack, most of Tai's men are killed but he fortunately is able to escape to a local inn.
Lee and his father are taken to see the injured Tai at the inn. Unable to carry on the journey himself, Tai gives the list to his loyal aid to deliver but he is intercepted by Kai's men before he can leave.
Hearing a disturbance downstairs at the inn, Lee rushes to help fight off the men so that the list will be delivered. Unable to defeat Lee, the cowardly henchmen hold his father and Mr. Tai at sword point, forcing Lee to give up the fight.
The men take Lee and the others to see Master Kai. The evil warlord orders his men to take Tai to the Devil Lair to interrogate him and execute both Lee and his father. Managing to break free from Kai's men, Lee is able to escape unharmed but his father is not so fortunate. As his dying wish, Lee's father asks him to go to the Devil's Lair and save Mr. Tai.
Vowing revenge, Lee sets out to the Devil's Lair but he is ambushed by Kai and his men on the way. Lee's leg is injured with a poisoned knife and he left for dead.
A doctor saves his life but informs Lee that his leg will have to be amputated. Lee is give a metal leg and the 18 kicks training manual. Once Lee has mastered the art of using the metal leg he sets out to save his Tai and rid the land of Master Kai forever.
