SYNOPSIS
Two fighters in Snake fist and Crane styles of Kung Fu secretly meet for a duel. The loser must leave town and let the winner teach his art in peace. Many years later, the winner of the duel, Master Chu Man Kin, sends his students across the land to teach Snake Fist style Kung Fu.

The rivalery however between  the two schools stills persists. On his journey to spread the Snake fist kung fu, one of the Master Chu's top students, Dragon Wu (Dragon Lee) is attacked by the rival Crane school for merely drinking from the river. When they discover that Wu is actually from the Snake Fist school, they intended to teach him a lesson.

The Crane school's new master is the son of the defeated Master Wai. Reluctant to let Wu go, it is only after his sisters persuasion by reminding him that they father would not be pleased if he knew what was happening he agrees to let him go.

Dragon continues his journey to a small village where he plans to marry his arranged bride and open a kung fu school. His plans do not go smoothly when the crane school hear of this.

Old Master Wai is still bitter over his defeat all those years ago. The duel that left his leg useless is something that he always kept secret from his son and daughter.

To find out the truth, Wai's son sends a fake invitation to Master Chu so that he can fight with him. When Wai discovers his sons actions, he is furious and tells him that he has brought shame to the school.

Wai's son does not pay any attention to his fathers words and intends to find out the truth and destroy the Snake Fist Kung Fu School.
