SYNOPSIS
After avenging his brothers death, Chen-San returns home to his blind mother and younger brother. Finally able to put his brother to rest at their family home, Chen-San promises his mother that he won't get involved in any more fighting. Although Chen promised, his mother still fears for her son.
After settling back home, Chen pays a visit to his Uncle's martial arts school. His Uncle, Master Chu, is feeling unwell, so he leaves his daughter to see to their guest. Chin-Chu introduces Chen to the schools best student, Shou Siu Tang, who is not too friendly toward Chen.
In preparation for their bosses visit, the Japanese begin to try and gain control over the town and are keeping a close watch on Chen's activities. With the help of the interpreter Chu, the Japanese try to force Chen-San into fighting with them by smashing up the family home and beating up his younger brother. When Chen fails to react to their plan, they use Master Chu's daughter and his student to their advantage.
It had been arranged for Shou Siu-Tang to marry his masters daughter but with the arrival of Chen-San, he sees him as a rival for her affections. With his frustration over Chin-Chu's increasing affection for Chen-San, Shou spends his days getting drunk and looking for trouble. Interpreter Chu uses the situation to slip a drug into Shou's drink.
Shou returns home, and in a moment of madness, attempts to force himself on to his masters daughter. When his master hears the scuffle and catches him, he kicks him out of the school.
Meanwhile, Chen-San befriends two travellers, Mr. Yu and his daughter, who are new to the village and have no friends or relatives in the area. After they have trouble with Shou, Chen brings them to his home to rest up for a while.
Since leaving the school, Shou is persuaded by the interpreter into working for the Japanese, who plan on using him to deal with Chen-San.
