SYNOPSIS
The Royal Hong Kong Police seize a ship of Vietnamese refugees with a hidden shipment of smuggled Gold. When four friends spend their free time diving, they discover cases of the Gold that had been dumped into the sea.
Although excited by the find, Ah-Wai (Ho Chung-Tao) is suspicious and suspects that someone may come back for the gold. He suggests that they wait for three days and then come back for it. However, one of the friends, Keung, is unwilling to take the chance of losing the Gold and returns alone and secretly brings it ashore.
It is not long before Keung decides to sell some of the bars and then begins to splash his new found wealth around. This raises the attention of a business man in Hong Kong who is part of the Gold smuggling operation.
The three friends realize that Keung must have taken the Gold. Gangsters lie in wait for Keung to return home but he manages to escape. Instead, they capture Chow and hold him ransom in exchange for the gold.
When the rescue attempt goes terribly wrong and leaves Chow dead, the three remaining friends are extremely worried by the danger that the smuggled gold has brought them.
Following the death of Chow, the three go to Marcu to lay low for a while. They return to Hong Kong sometime later and Keung is desperate for them to split the Gold. Ah-Wai thinks it would be better if they tried to return to their normal lives. However, they soon realise that this is not going to be that easy...
