SYNOPSIS
A conflict between two rival gangs soon begins when a microfilm worth millions is stolen. The gangster thought to have it, or at least know the location, is beaten and barely manages to escape.
In order to get the microfilm, the gangsters attempt to kidnap the man's girlfriend Siu Wei. Luckily for Siu, she is saved by a mute beggar who has become obsessed with her and fights off the attackers with his wild tiger kung fu.
When the two lovers are reunited, she reveals how the beggars traumatic childhood led to him being unable to speak, and also that it is not the first time he has come to her aid.
As the two make plans to leave the country to start a new life, the mute beggar sees the chance to claim a reward offered by the gangsters and has his own day-dream of a new life with the girl. When things do not go how he planned, it leads to him being despised by the girl for betraying the one she does love.
To try and save her boyfriend, the girl offers herself to the gang boss. When the man who does actually have the microfilm is killed, he manages to give Siu it before he dies and tells her to leave and start a new life with her lover. But escaping is not that easy. After the mute discovers that Siu is being forced to sleep with the gang bosses rival, he goes to rescue her and boyfriend.
