SYNOPSIS
Still angered and consumed with guilt over the death of his son, the General is even more determined to settle his grudge with Chen Lung when he discovers that he is still alive after been nursed back to health by a hermit and his daughter Lotus.
The General's men are useless when it comes to finding Chen, so See-Sai, who was sent by the Emperor, takes charge of the situation and promises the General that he will take care of Chen Lung, and settle a personal score with Master Po Siu-Pai.
The soldiers are not happy with the new arrival ordering them about and show him no respect. Instead, they hatch a plan to get rid of him.
After barely escaping with his life, Chen Lung is recovering well some ten days later and is eager to deliver a secret document to Master Po Siu-Pai and beg him to teach him Tae Kwon Do so that he can re-establish the Ching Wu school and get revenge on the Japanese.
When visiting the local town, the hermit discovers that a new reward has been put up for Chen's life and rushes home to warn him but he is followed. Finally feeling up to travelling, Chen is giving directions by the Hermit on how to find Master Po . After fleeing, the Japanese arrive and kill the hermit and his daughter for helping Chen.
When he arrives at Master Po's hideaway, he refuses to help Chen as he knows that he is only interested in revenge. Chen, however, doesn't give up so easily and takes time to reflect on what the master has told him. Only when the Master is satisfied that Chen has stopped thinking of revenge, and his motives are only to help out his fellow countrymen, does he agree to teach him. Although Chen has took guidance from Master Po, the Japanese are still in pursuit of finding Po's hideout and Chen.
