SYNOPSIS
Four students are each taught four of the five animal styles of Kung Fu. The master assigns each individual student with a specific style of their own. However, the Japanese have plans to steal the documentation for themselves and attempt to get one of their men to be accepted as a student by the master.

The four students feel it would be a good idea for the master to give the book to them so that they can study it and deal with any imposing Japanese threat. The master agrees to a contest between the four to decide who will take over the guardianship of the secret book. 

Chow Yee Fan, the senior of the students and the most keen to obtain the book, wins the contest but the master has doubts about him. His suspicions are proven to be true when he kills the master and it is revealed that he is in fact a traitor working with the Japanese.

Before his death, the master gave two of the students the secret book and tells them to study from it. The other student went out seeking the Japanese and was unaware of any of the events that happened. When he discovers that Chow has killed they master, the three students work together to get revenge  for their master. 

When two of them are killed by Chow Yee and he gets possession of the book, it is up to the last student, Wong Chi Lung to seek out a new master  to teach him the skills to defeat the traitor and keep the treasured book out of the Japanese fighters hands.
